Pride Rowing is a group of talented, dedicated student-athletes who embody the values of their university and sport.
As a group, we continue to meet the challenges of extraordinary performance that our coaches, teammates, Hofstra, and the sport of rowing have come to expect and demand.
Check your email for spring training camp information.
We will be practicing 5 days/week in the gym (6:30 varsity/7:30 novice Monday-Thursday, 6:30 everyone Friday) and then 5 days/week on the water as soon as it is warm enough!
If you are not available on Saturday February 23rd for the StonyBrook erg relay, please let Lauren know.
Boathouse dues will cover the fall season as well.
Hi everyone!
I just want to say I'm so happy with the outcomes of this season. Returners made great strides on the ergs and in the boat while novice really exceeded my expectations. Between the varsity men having an excellent row at the Head of the Charles in Boston, the novice girls placing first in their heat at Mets and a million other day-to-day victories along the way, the season was a huge success.
I also wanted to remind you of a couple dates:
Monday, November 26 - First day of winter practice schedule
Wednesday, November 28 - Learn how to deal poker night
Sunday, December 2 - Poker Tournament
Congrats on completing the first (or another) fall semester and I hope that you fell in love with crew for the first time or yet again! Thanks for keeping up the positive attitudes (even at 5:30 a.m.!) and really giving your best effort every day at practice.
-Lauren
Hey team. I am looking for people on the team who would be willing to write up articles detailing their and Hofstra Crew's experience at a Regatta or practice. One-time submissions are okay, I am preferably looking to have one article per race, and not from the same person every time. These articles will be used in a new section of the Hofstra Crew website that is to debut this coming summer.
Email me if you are interested, my pride address is Bridge1.
Thanks, and be sure to check out the updated roster!

We're back from the Harlem, and tossed some coxswains!
Enjoy,
